Frequently asked questions in company law

How long does it take to set up a company?

If the right information is available, the company will be registered within a few days of the application.

Yes, the procedures for registering changes require the signature of a lawyer.

I can help you with all the necessary legal steps, from the payment notice to the enforcement procedure.
A payment notice does not in itself have direct legal consequences. If the debtor ignores the payment notice, it does not automatically make the debt recoverable. However, a well-written and timely served demand notice can be an important step towards liquidation and can encourage the debtor to pay the debt.
The order for payment procedure is a simplified procedure, conducted by a notary, which allows for the rapid enforcement of monetary claims. For overdue debts of less than HUF 3 million, only an order for payment can be enforced, while for debts of more than HUF 3 million but less than HUF 30 million, an alternative to civil proceedings is available.
If the order for payment procedure is not applicable or if the debtor contests the order for payment, the creditor must bring civil proceedings before the court to enforce the claim.
Enforcement proceedings are the last step in the recovery of a claim. If the creditor has a final and enforceable decision (e.g. a court judgment or an order for payment), he is entitled to initiate enforcement proceedings.
